High Performance Air Intake
Cold air intakes move the air filter outside of the engine compartment so that cooler air can be sucked into the engine for combustion. Cooler air brings more oxygen (denser air) into the combustion chamber and that means more power. The filters are usually moved to the upper wheel well area or near a fender where there is more access to free flowing, cooler air and less hot air from the engine.
Not only does a cold air intake reduce the air temperature, but it also increases airflow. Aftermarket intakes remove the need for a box surrounding the air filter and instead use large diameter intake tubes that are smoother, have less bends and are often wider than the original factory ones. Removing the airbox and using smoother tubes gives the engine uninterrupted airflow.
High Performance Suspension
Adding power to your vehicle is always a worthwhile upgrade; however, without adequate suspension modification, you can discover that you have more problems than before the engine upgrades. While making your car perform more efficiently, adding power also makes it more unstable. It changes the dynamic involved when you turn, as well as while accelerating. A comprehensive suspension upgrade will make the real difference between braking through a turn and accelerating through it.
No matter what vehicle you own, your car’s development engineers have taken into consideration everything that would ultimately affect its performance – rough roads, snow chain clearance, bumper heights, and the number of passengers the automobile was designed to carry. To accommodate all of those variables, your vehicle’s suspension system had to be tuned for average conditions, as well as braking, acceleration, and cornering. But if you’re not an average driver, you may want to tune your car to better match your driving style.
Ask about ways to improve your trucks suspension.Without an engine, your car isn’t going anywhere fast! We know that life without your vehicle can be frustrating and stressful but ignoring issues with your engine can lead to major problems.
This is why we always strive to make your experience with us as easy and stress-free as possible, and at affordable rates that won’t break the bank. Our car repair shop offers a range of engine replacement services, so no matter the extent of damage or repair, we’ve got you covered.
High Performance Brakes
ROTORS:
Carbon-ceramic brake rotors have been taking center stage in the most extreme performance braking systems for years; the materials used in their construction have their roots in the worlds of aerospace and motorsports.
By making the brake rotors out of this composite blend of lightweight and alluring materials, many benefits are realized: carbon-ceramic brakes are lighter, have a longer service life, are massively resist thermal fatigue and brake fade, and perform far more powerfully and consistently in racetrack and motorsport use.
Though the use of carbon-ceramic brake rotors is arguably the single best way to improve a vehicle’s braking performance, they are massively expensive — which is why they’re typically only found in big-dollar, high-performance vehicles.
BRAKE PADS:
Upgraded brake rotors, are just one of several parts when it comes to a complete high-performance braking system upgrade. With high-quality materials, you get improved thermal resistance and better performance in harsh driving conditions. Brake pads and rotors work in sync for their entire life together, making the selection of the right pad very important. A set of sporting brake pads designed to work with a specific set of upgraded brake rotors is ideal. This combination provides synergistic benefits to performance, stopping power, durability, and resistance to degradation by heat caused by hard driving or frequent race-track use.
High Performance Exhaust
A better flowing exhaust can help your car to generate more BHP. How quickly you can get the exhaust gasses out of the engine places a limit on how quickly you can get fresh air into the engine and thus how much power can be made. A better flowing exhaust always improves the power your engine can make. Performance exhausts achieve this in several ways. Pipework diameter, exhaust layout, and reducing obstructions in the exhaust all play their part.
On a non-turbo engine, it’s all about keeping the gas in the exhaust flowing quickly. The action of getting the exhaust gas out of the engine helps it draw in fresh air at certain parts of the rev range. The quicker everything is flowing, the more benefit you get from this. On a turbo-car, the big priority is increasing the flow-rate of the exhaust. The more gas the turbo can get out, the more efficiently it can force feed your engine with air at the other end.
High Performance Radiator
Radiators are all about heat exchange. More surface area provides more opportunity for the coolant leaving your engine to dissipate the heat before recirculating to collect more heat. For this reason, you want a performance radiator replacement that has as many fins and pipes as possible while still fitting into the available space. Price does increase with the improved design, but when you are working to gain horsepower over a longer period, it is worth the investment.
Best Ways To Improve Your Radiator:
- Improve Your FANS
- Inlet & Outlet Size
- Water Pump Speed
